Client Description: The Astoria Queens are a women’s exhibition basketball team that competes in the Black Diamond league along with the Harlem Globetrotters and the Washington Generals. The Queens were born and raised in New York and take great pride in their city. They play in Astoria Park Stadium, in Astoria, Queens, but also travel all over the United States to compete. The Queens visit schools and hospitals to inspire young women athletes to never give up on their dreams and that anything is possible. Profits made from ticket sales help support underprivileged schools in New York. The Queens are firm supporters of promoting women in athletics and education. The team highlights athleticism, theater, and comedy.
Problem being solved: Unfortunately, women athletes are sometimes overlooked. This team showcases top-tier women athletes and also helps underprivileged schools with donations.
Target Audience: Targeted towards children who are athletes or interested in sports. Parents of these children are also the targeted audience. Ages: 8-17 & Parents of Children 8-17.
